REP PR-1000 Power Rack

REP PR-1000
The REP PR-1000 is the better of REP’s two entry-level racks if precise bar and safety placement matters more than having a multi-grip pull-up bar. It keeps the same 700 lb rackable capacity and 2×2 in 14-gauge construction as the PR-1100, but tightens the hole spacing from 3 in to 2 in and adds rear weight horns.
Pros:
  • 2 in hole spacing gives better bench and safety positioning than the PR-1100
  • 700 lb rackable capacity is enough for most home gym lifters
  • Rear weight horns add basic plate storage without another stand
  • Dual pull-up bars give two grip diameters
  • J-cups and pin-pipe safeties are included
  • Compatible with REP’s 1000 Series lat pulldown and basic rack attachments
Cons:
  • 2×2 in 14-gauge frame is less rigid than modern 3×3 premium racks
  • 1000 Series attachment ecosystem is limited compared with REP’s 4000 and 5000 Series
  • 58 in overall width takes more room than narrower premium REP racks
  • No premium integrated functional trainer path
