REP AB-5200 Adjustable Bench
CLICK FOR BEST PRICE
I’ve used the original REP AB-5200 four-five days per week for years, and it became my main adjustable bench because it was extremely stable, heavy-duty, and easy to adjust. REP now sells the AB-5200 2.0, which keeps the 1,000 lb capacity while adding more adjustment options and an optional decline setup.

Owners Feedback
Pros
- Very stable under heavy pressing
- 1,000 lb weight capacity
- Closed ladder adjustment is fast and secure
- Vertical storage saves floor space
- Standard and wide pad options
- Current 2.0 can be configured for decline
Cons
- Heavy compared with budget benches
- Premium price
- My long-term hands-on testing is on the original AB-5200, not the current 2.0
- A 1.4 inch pad gap may still be noticeable to some lifters
